5.2 FIXES - LICENSE PROBLEM FIX

License problem
Symptoms:
All license plans are active, but Rodopi downloads
only the default 100 licenses.
Cause:
Rodopi checks the licenses against the MAC address ot
the Web server. The system function it uses to retrieve the MAC
address was changed by Microsoft in Windows 2000 to return random
value and new function was added which behaves as the original
function for NT. To avoid the problem Rodopi created two versions of
the License server - one for NT and one for Windows 2000. Rodopi's
installation detects the operating system and installs the proper
License server.
With the recent hot fixes for NT Microsoft changed the
behaviour of the system function in NT too. This causes problems with
Rodopi licenses after installing the hot fix.
Resolution:
To resolve the problem, obtain the proper version of
the License server, stop the Rodopi License Server service, replace
the LicSrv.exe in main Rodopi directory with the new one and start the
service again.
