RODOPI  5.2  12 REASONS TO UPGRADE TO 5.x

1. Flexible provisioning. Rodopi 5.x supports an unlimited number of details (only 4 were supported in Rodopi 4.x). This allows for easy provisioning for new and upcoming services. For example, if you want to integrate with your DSL provider you just create a new detail “DSL circuit” and you can trigger an event every time your customer subscribes for a plan containing this detail.

2. More options for Credit Card processing. Rodopi 4.x supports only ICVerify. Rodopi 5.x supports “ICVerify” and “PCAuthorize” for stand alone (with modem) use as well as “AuthorizeNet” and “Rodopi Service Bureau” for secured credit card processing over the Internet.

3. Rodopi 5.x supports pre-paid Internet services. Service is discontinued automatically after the prepaid amount is completely used.

4. Transaction log. Rodopi 5.x keeps transaction log of who performed each and every transaction and when. Search is available by transaction or by personal IP address.

5. Tool for marketing analysis of banner advertisement (optional, extra charge apply). Reports what sites are referring traffic to you, how much and how many subscriptions you get from each referral URL.

6. Error logs. Rodopi 5.x supports system status log for easy monitoring and recovery from errors and outages.

7. VoIP – Rodopi 5.x supports both Lucent and Cisco VoIP platforms. Build your own VoIP network or join the nationwide network build by Rodopi Club in cooperation with United Telesis. Rodopi 5.0 supports both pre-paid (calling cards) and post-paid accounts. Special equipment purchase plans at reduced prices are available.

8. Unified Messaging (UM). Rodopi 5.x supports UM by Call Technologies (a division of 3COM). Create your own UM center (investment required) or join Rodopi Club UM center without investing in your own equipment.

9. Wholesale flat rate dial-up accounts. Rodopi 5.x supports dial-up accounts to be purchased from Rodopi Club (over 500 ISP worldwide with over 2,500 POP are currently enrolled and active). Members buy services in areas they have no presence and sell their own services. The network is up and running for over one year. It has been used for roaming only, billed per hour. Members with Rodopi 5.x can use it for buying flat rate accounts from other members. Those who are exclusively sellers, do not need upgrade to 5.x Suggested rate for the U.S. is $7 a month. Ideal for getting nationwide overnight, or for a Virtual ISP.

10. Bandwidth management. Rodopi 5.x allows service providers to “slice” bandwidth automatically upon subscription for specific plans. Now you can define – web site hosting with bandwidth no more than 128 Kbs. Rodopi 5.0 will automatically assign 128 Kbs to each and every account subscribed for such plan. Ideal for web hosting and server co-location companies. Requires hardware from Allot Communications. NetFlow™ bandwidth billing is still supported as it was in 4.x.

11. DNS management. Rodopi 5.0 offers improved DNS management. The management of the pools of IP addresses was greatly improved allowing multiple pools and more rules for the management. Ideal for web hosting, server co-location, ASP, domain names registration, etc.

12. Improved customer care module. Now it supports both hierarchical and flat model of the corporate structure.
