RODOPI 5.2 PRODUCT FEATURES - CONSOLIDATED OPERATIONS

If you own or manage a group of different ISP’s, RODOPI can provide you with a billing solution. You can organize RODOPI to work with a group of ISP’s in a couple of different ways:

1. The centralized model.

There is only one RODOPI running at the Central Provider (CP). All ISP’s operate as resellers. CP bills all customers and pays commission to the resellers. Resellers can operate under their own brand/domain. Resellers will be able to subscribe customers completely independently and to provide customer support independently as well. They will be able to update the account information for their customers only; that is they can add services, change credit card information and view invoices/statements. The resellers will be allowed to view their commission on-line any time. They will NOT be able to do billing, to apply payments, to run reports, to design their own welcome and prompt letters, to send any letters to their customers through RODOPI and to administer RODOPI. All these features will be available to the CP only.

2. The distributed model.

Each one of the ISP’s will run their own completely independent copy of RODOPI. This way they can operate under their own brand/domain and manage all aspects of their operation like billing, customer letters, collection, tech support etc. All these RODOPI's will run on one server and each of them will use own SQL database and will be managed by one administrator – the central provider (CP). We will provide a special procedure, which will allow the CP to consolidate all accounts in one authentication system. Note that this procedure will NOT allow duplicating user names.

The Central Provider (CP) will collect the service fees from the ISP’s based on reports from their RODOPI software. RODOPI does support a strict parity between customers and records on the servers so that all accounts are visible and accountable for to CP.
